Practise under real conditions. Set the exact length of your exam and work until the alarm.
Practise under exam conditions
Timing a practice paper shows you how much you can really do in the time, which is the skill exams test. Enter the length of your paper, for example 1 hour and 30 minutes, and press Start. You can also open a timer with the time already set, such as 1 hour 30 minutes.
Plan your time across questions
- Many exams work out at roughly a minute per mark, but check your own paper.
- Note the time you should reach at each section before you start.
- Leave a few minutes at the end to check your answers.
In class or at home
Teachers can press Fullscreen to show the countdown on a board, and students can keep it open on a second device. This timer is for practice. In a real exam, follow the clock and rules set by your exam centre.
