How the visual timer works
Choose a time and press Start. The coloured circle starts full and empties as the time runs out, with the exact time shown underneath. When the circle is empty you will hear an alarm.
Who uses a visual timer?
Many people find it easier to sense time passing when they can see it. Visual timers are popular in classrooms, for children learning to manage time, for homework, tidy-up time and focus sessions. Press Fullscreen to show the circle large on a projector or tablet.

Frequently asked questions
Is the disc accurate?
Yes. It is drawn from the time remaining, so it always matches the numbers.
Can I use it in a classroom?
Yes. Use the Fullscreen button to show it large, and pick a preset or type any time you need.
Can I change the time while it runs?
Reset the timer first, then choose a new time. You will be asked to confirm so a running timer is never lost by accident.
